Taking a stroll through Assembly Hall is a full sensory experience.  The aromas alone detail the complexity of the space: ripe pineapple wedges and wheat grass freshly pressed at Assembly Hall Juice & Coffee, savory umami broths simmering at TanakaSan and the warm familiar scent of the perfect slice of New York style pizza from Home Remedy.  Thankfully, there’s no need to rely solely on one’s olfactories.  Recently opened, Assembly Hall has all these delectable items and other tasty treats to suit any craving at any time of day.

Kick off the morning at Assembly Hall Juice & Coffee, the perfect pit stop to energize with a zippy fruit and veggie juice or cold brew coffee.  More substantial fare is available at the Kitchen Counter from 7am-11am Monday through Friday, serving hearty plates of griddled buttermilk pancakes and pastrami hash among other satisfying breakfast dishes.

Lunchtime provides a wealth of options.  TanakaSan might be a person’s first inclination for a dim sum style lunch, but you’ll also be tempted to head over to Home Remedy where there’s a plethora of scrumptious food to be enjoyed.  Pizza by the slice, hand carved pastrami sandwiches, or Mumbai chapatti filled with curried cauliflower can all be ordered for those who need a quick bite on the go.  Planning ahead and grabbing a few tasty items for dinner while at Home Remedy can be a deliciously smart time saver!  The store is stocked with frozen entrees from various Tom Douglas Restaurants that only need the heat of a home oven.

Crunchy twice-fried chicken wings and sake slushies are the perfect post-work snack while recapping the day with friends or coworkers at TanakaSan during their happy hour from 4-6 pm.


Assembly Hall is located in the Via6 apartment complex on the block of 6th Avenue between Lenora and Blanchard in downtown Seattle.
