What if you could wield your brain like a tool, the way a carpenter wields a hammer? Well, now you can. This is the premise of the book The Mega Mind System, the latest opus from author Liv Montgomery, who will be addressing this subject during her book signing and topical discussion at Barnes & Noble in Bellevue, Washington on March 3 at 2:00 pm.

“You’re already a genius,” asserts Montgomery, a certified hypnotherapist. “You may not know how to tap into it yet, but the fact remains.” So begins The Mega Mind System, Montgomery’s deeply personal account of her own trials and triumphs in accessing and wielding her brain power since childhood. As if to show off her mental prowess, she wrote the 65,000-word book in 19 days.

“Liv is the real deal,” quips her publisher, Bryan Heathman, president of Made For Success in Seattle. “I work with a lot of well-known authors, and I’ve never seen anyone put out this kind of content in such a short time. In fact, I’ve never seen content quite like this.  Plus she’s funny,” Heathman adds. “It’s a good combination.”

While Montgomery draws upon personal accounts to illustrate her points, The Mega Mind System functions more like a primer on how to supercharge your thinking through speed learning techniques, refined mental focus, increased memory, speed reading savvy, and enhanced mind power. The result is a cocktail of prescribed daily activities, goal settting exercises and self-hypnosis for compelling results. “For example, if you feel like it, you can not only learn to speed read Einstein’s own tract on his Theory of Relativity,” she says, “you can apply his principles on quantum theory in your everyday life. To me, developing that kind of ability on command is worth anyone’s attention. I mean… why wouldn’t you?”

The upcoming event is drawing buzz from the local community, and a crowd is expected. For those who can’t make it to the book signing at Barnes & Noble Bellevue on March 3, The Mega Mind System will be available for retail download on that date. Her audio CD series on the same topic, Mega Mind Power, is available now at Barnes & Noble.

The only question that remains is what kind of impact it will have on its readers. “I picture a world with a lot more very sharp, very happy people in it,” Montgomery smiles knowingly. We can only hope.
