Wintergrass Festival 2012 logo

The 2012 Wintergrass Music Festival is returning to Bellevue for the third year. Wintergrass is one of the biggest and best bluegrass festivals in the country, attracting not just fans, but also musicians and artists from regional and national favorites to international acts. An estimated 30 bands and over 200 musicians will perform throughout the four-day festival taking place on February 23-26 at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.

Wintergrass also offers a robust selection of unique education programs. Each of these programs require additional registration, however Wintergrass also offers a huge selection of workshops during the festival itself. Admission to these festival workshops is included in the price of the ticket.

While Wintergrass is primarily a bluegrass music festival, guest will also hear plenty of other styles of acoustic music including Gypsy jazz, Celtic music, Old-Timey, Swedish polska and many more types of acoustic string music. For those who love bluegrass, or any kind of old-timey, folk and country music, need to attend Wintergrass in Bellevue.

The 2012 festival will showcase an amazing lineup of artists:

  • Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder
  • Tim O’Brien
  • Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice
  • The Grascals
  • The Titans of Twang
