Dustin Ackley was sparkling in the Mariner’s 5-1 loss to the Phillies last night. In only his second game Dustin hit his first major league home run which would become the Mariner’s only run of the game. Dustin was the 2009 first round draft pick of the Mainers and is a promising star of the future.

The Mariners now at 36 and 35 hope for a win on Sunday to win the series with the Phillies and keep pace with Texas Rangers now at 38 and 34 1-1/2 games ahead of the Mariners.
