Industrial Revolution, the privately-held Washington manufacturer and distributor of essential and reliable outdoor accessories through brands such as UCO, Light My Fire,Morakniv and others, is proud to announce the promotion of Peter Pontano to Director of Marketing & Product Development.
Pontano has been with Industrial Revolution since 2013, and was previously responsible solely for product development. With Pontano’s promotion, Industrial Revolution will merge

Peter is a unique individual in that he is both a Creative, and a Process guy,” said Industrial Revolution President Graeme Esarey. “He has been a great champion of design in the company, and has been informally leading the creative team for some time now. He has personally been involved in the design of our innovative new headlamp series, as well as leading our lantern development.”
Pontano has demonstrated his creativity through UCO’s brand development and the popular UCO #TrashTag project, and his skills have made him an invaluable asset to the marketing team. Pontano also manages the product test teams, and in his new role will be very active with ambassador collaboration, as well.
Prior to joining Industrial Revolution, Pontano was the Senior binding designer for Ride Snowboards. He has been named on a number of patents while at Ride and Industrial Revolution.
